Mary Hunter Sudduth, BA, MSW, LCSW has practiced in the field of Social Work since 1993. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a Minor in Gerontology from Christopher Newport College in 1992, followed by her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth Univeristy in 1993. She has practiced as a Social Worker in the areas of home health, hospice, nursing home, hospital, mental health hospital, non-profit health organization, Crisis Stabilization, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and education. She has also served as adjunct faculty at Christopher Newport University and Thomas Nelson Community College, is published in the area of grief, and has written curriculum for educational programs and groups. In 2008, she earned her LCSW and is licensed to practice as a clinician in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her areas of concentration include healthcare, gerontology, death & dying, grief, oncology, coping with chronic and acute medical conditions, mental health, adjustment issues, family development, communication, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and family dynamics.
Suzanne Souders, LCSW is currently an active practitioner in the area of acute and chronic mental health in the intensive outpatient setting. She has experience working with a wide variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, and dementia causing disorders. She also has training and experience in Substance Abuse and Anger and Violence Prevention.
